The Ice Giant Range, a mountain range located on the planet of Tython, served as the home of Stav Kesh. This was the Temple of Martial Arts for the Je'daii Order. Positioned on the continent of Kato Zakar, the range was approximately five hundred kilometers away from the northern coastline and twenty-seven hundred kilometers to the north of the continent's volcanic center. The Tho Yor pyramid ship which transported the initial Tythan pilgrims to the Ice Giants became embedded within the mountain range, leading the Je'daii to construct Stav Kesh on the hillsides above the Tho Yor.
The Ice Giant Range was initially depicted in preview issue 0 of the Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi comic series. It later featured in the series' first issue and the associated novel Dawn of the Jedi: Into the Void. However, the name "Ice Giant Range" was first used in the series' sixth issue.
