The inhabitants of Tython were known as Tythans. In the ancient Pre-Republic era, the initial Tythans consisted of Force-sensitives who arrived on the planet aboard the Tho Yor vessels during the first migration. As time passed, not every descendant retained Force sensitivity, leading numerous non-sensitive individuals to establish colonies on other planets within the Tython system.
