Mist creatures, also called fog creatures, comprised a predatory cephalopod species that originated on Kestavel. These beings dwelled within the fog-laden, kilometer-deep gorge encircling The Lucky Twi'lek casino. Despite their confinement to the chasm, they possessed a reputation for extreme danger, readily devouring any person who fell into their domain before they hit the ground.
During the Imperial attack on the casino, when the Uhumele sought refuge in the fog, Shaylai Veila exercised vigilance, opting to stay outside the vessel due to her apprehension that the mist creatures could detect their presence.
