Force Burst

Force Burst was a power within the Force, accessible to both Jedi and Sith, as described in Force power lore. The intensity of the Burst was directly related to the duration and amount of energy invested in its creation.

The magnitude and power of a Burst could vary significantly, from being incredibly large and explosive to being small, yet still lethal. Typically, it appeared as a semi-transparent sphere with either a blue or green color, while the Sith version often displayed a reddish tint. This sphere of Force energy unerringly and swiftly pursued its designated target. Defenses such as Force protection or a Protection bubble could negate this technique. Alternatively, a powerful Force push could alter its trajectory, or another Force Burst could dissipate it. More commonly, a well-executed Force shield could deflect it. A comparable dark-side Force power, known as Force Destruction, involved the user channeling Force energy through their body to unleash it.
