Force Destruction, a dark side Force ability utilized by both Sith and Dark Jedi, enabled the creation and projection of an immense energy field.
In practice, a substantial quantity of energy, drawn from the dark side of the Force, was accumulated within the user. With intense focus, this energy was then released, channeling it through their own body. Typically discharged via the arm or hand, this blast could vaporize anyone within a considerable radius. Even those who avoided direct contact were violently repelled by the power's concussive force.
The execution of Force Destruction was exceedingly draining, demanding significant concentration and focus, limiting its use to a few instances before requiring rest. A comparable ability, more commonly employed by Jedi than Sith, was Force Burst, where a telekinetic blast was unleashed by expelling the accumulated Force energy from within the user's body.
Jerec is renowned for his use of this ability, notably against Kyle Katarn in the Valley of the Jedi. Boc Aseca is also documented as having employed this Force power.
Although Darth Vader seems to demonstrate a power akin to Force Destruction in Splinter of the Mind's Eye, the actual ability is identified as "kinetite."
Likewise, Vader appears to wield a similar power in Soulcalibur IV, but it is referred to as "Force Cannon" and "Force Eruption." These attacks consume only a small amount of Vader's overall energy to perform, and inflict severe damage on his opponent. It stands as one of the most devastating moves in the game, capable of depleting half or more of a regular opponent's health bar.
Vader similarly employed a comparable power when confronting Galen Marek aboard the Death Star in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. He enveloped himself in a red energy field before unleashing it upon Marek.
