Force sight, also known as Force seeing, represented a fundamental Force power, specifically a derivation of Force sense. This ability amplified the user's visual and spatial awareness, even in conditions of total darkness or through solid barriers. The act of "seeing" via the Force proved to be a valuable asset, as Obi-Wan Kenobi famously stated, "Your eyes can deceive you. Don't trust them." Adept practitioners could perceive far beyond their normal sensory limits and were equipped to resist Force persuasion as well as Force blinding techniques.
The Miraluka people depended upon this talent consistently to make up for their inherent lack of physical sight. While unable to discern colors, they possessed the capacity to differentiate between organic beings (even deceased ones) and their moral leanings from the surrounding environment by means of their unique auras. Most objects, including doors and walls, appeared transparent, thereby enabling the Miraluka to perceive objects beyond them. The Miraluka stood out as the most accomplished masters of this particular skill. Consequently, their reflexes were enhanced to a great degree.
Although it was a characteristic of the Miraluka, other species could be trained in its use; as an example, Visas Marr instructed Meetra Surik in the application of this ability. Kreia also employed the Miraluka version of Force sight to such an extent that her physical eyes deteriorated due to a lack of use. Another known individual who used this ability was Rahm Kota, who relied on it following the loss of his sight in a confrontation with Galen Marek, who later also acquired this ability. Darth Bane briefly tapped into this power while serving within the Gloom Walkers unit after being temporarily blinded by a flash canister. Jaesa Willsaam demonstrated exceptional proficiency in this ability, demonstrating the ability to discern individual personality attributes such as vengeance, hatred, and envy.
