The Fordon system, a star system, was situated in the Savareen sector of the Outer Rim Territories. In 7 ABY, the Quarren pirate known as Jerresk made a visit to the Fordon system. This visit occurred after Jerresk executed a raid on a New Republic supply ship that was en route to the Musson system in the Karthakk sector. During that year, General Airen Cracken of the New Republic included this system in the Wanted by Cracken datafile as the last known location of Jerresk.
The initial mention of the Fordon system occurred in the 1993 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement titled Wanted by Cracken. This supplement was authored by Louis J. Prosperi for West End Games. The reference book The Essential Atlas, published in 2009, specified the system's location as grid square Q-16.
