Formidable (Strike-class)

Formidable, a medium cruiser of the Strike-class, served the Galactic Empire. It participated in an ambush operation alongside Strike cruisers Triumph, Indomitable, and the Grey Wolf, an Imperial-class Star Destroyer. This force was intended to intercept a strike force dispatched by Grand Admiral Demetrius Zaarin. Zaarin's strike force was under the impression that they were going to ambush a convoy carrying Missile Boats; however, the convoy actually contained munitions. The ambush resulted in the strike force's destruction, after which the Imperial ships jumped into hyperspace.
