Fourth Batallion

The Fourth Batallion functioned as a battalion within the Sixth Regiment of the Corellian Security Force throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War.

Following the Battle of Yavin, an Imperial Intelligence liaison officer oversaw the Fourth Batallion's activities, significantly reducing its financial resources. In 1 ABY, the battalion conducted simulated fire drills in a wilderness environment for newly enlisted personnel. During one such drill, a novice trainee inadvertently wandered into the territory of a wild, carnivorous beast and suffered fatal injuries. To ensure such an event did not recur, the battalion's leadership contracted an external strike force to locate and neutralize the dangerous wildlife inhabiting the training area.
