Frank Springer


Frank Springer, born on December 6, 1929 and passing away on April 2, 2009, was a comic book artist. He contributed to the Marvel Star Wars comic book series. His career in comics started in 1955, where he assisted George Wunder on Terry and the Pirates. The 1960s saw him primarily at Dell Publishing, working on comics like Charlie Chan and Brain Boy. From then until the 1980s, Springer's work appeared through publishers like DC Comics and Marvel Comics, including titles like Spider-Man and Transformers.

Springer's death, due to prostate cancer, occurred on April 2, 2009.
