The clan, under the leadership of Freff the Nightbrother, played a role throughout the Imperial Era. This group was in service to the Nardithi Nightsisters who resided on the planet of Dathomir. Following their annihilation in the Battle of Dathomir which took place in 20 BBY, the surviving Nardithi Nightsister, Jerserra, became the object of their service.
