Jerserra was a female individual from Dathomir, identified as a Dathomirian. She was removed from her home planet and underwent training by an Inquisitor serving the Galactic Empire. Her weapon of choice was a red double-bladed spinning lightsaber. Ultimately, she committed murder against her master and transitioned into a mercenary, driven by a quest for enhanced power.

Jerserra's birth occurred sometime within the timeframe of 37 BBY to 20 BBY on the planet Dathomir, located in the Outer Rim Territories. During her childhood, she displayed significant strength in the Force, possessing a strong desire for immense power, regardless of the consequences for those around her. She belonged to the Nardithi Nightsisters, a specific group within the broader Nightsisters organization.
In 20 BBY, during the period of the Clone Wars fought between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, Jerserra witnessed the deaths of the majority of her sisters during the Battle of Dathomir. This battle involved an attack by Kaleesh warlord General Grievous and his Separatist Droid Army, who had been ordered to completely eliminate the Nightsisters by Separatist leader Count Dooku as retribution for Mother Talzin's schemes against him. Following the battle, only a small number of Nightsisters survived, including Jerserra. Years later, a female Inquisitor arrived on Dathomir seeking power, but instead discovered a teenage Jerserra. The Inquisitor chose Jerserra to be trained as a clandestine Inquisitor. Before her departure, Jerserra secured her clan's fragment of the Nardithi Cluster.
Jerserra received training from the Inquisitor, serving as her apprentice. She dedicated years to learning from her master, gaining access to numerous secrets of the Force. With the shard in her possession, she devoted considerable time to its study. Growing impatient and desiring to explore the galaxy, she used her own red lightsaber to kill her master. She meticulously removed any trace of her involvement, fabricating evidence to implicate other Inquisitors, and embarked on a life as a mercenary.
Jerserra possessed Force-sensitivity, and her dark side abilities enabled her to project terrifying illusions into the minds of her adversaries, forcing them to confront their deepest fears.
