The Nardithi Cluster was a group of hexagonal spires situated on the planet of Dathomir. This Cluster enabled Force-sensitives with significant abilities to enhance their powers; however, it also drained the Force from surrounding lifeforms, sometimes with lethal results. Following its initial unearthing, a faction of Nightsisters took control of the cluster. This clan relocated the cluster from its original location, saturating it with the dark side of the Force.
Prior to departing for training under her master, Jerserra, who was a Nardithi Nightsister, acquired a fragment of the Cluster. They meticulously analyzed this shard for a number of years. Aloen Dresk examining a shard of the Cluster When a salvage worker discovered a portion of the collection, Aloen Dresk, the salvage operator, experienced a Force-based connection to it and subsequently absconded with it. This fragment was subsequently inherited within his lineage, eventually falling into the hands of Yeel Dresk. Yeel then commissioned Quek Rai, a Corellian artist, to incorporate it into the Tragic Hope. The Tragic Hope was then placed in the establishment of Walisi, a merchant.
