A female Inquisitor journeyed to Dathomir in the years following the Formation of the Galactic Empire. While there, she came across Jerserra, a teenage Dathomirian witch belonging to the Nardithi Nightsisters. Subsequently, the Inquisitor chose Jerserra to be her apprentice, secretly training her as an Inquisitor with the intention of using her against her fellow Inquisitors. After a period of training, Jerserra grew restless and, believing herself capable of defeating her master, used her master's own lightsaber to kill her, claiming it as her own and embarking on a career as a mercenary.
Prior to becoming an Inquisitor, this individual was a former Jedi who was later chosen for recruitment into the Inquisitorius. Following the establishment of the Galactic Empire, this Inquisitor served for a number of years, acting as an instrument of the will of both Darth Sidious and Darth Vader. She, along with the other Inquisitors, were tasked with either eliminating or converting to the dark side any Jedi who had managed to survive Order 66, as well as locating young Force-sensitives. Eventually, she made her way to Dathomir.
While on Dathomir, the Inquisitor encountered Jerserra, abducted her from her home world, and began training her to be used as a weapon against other members of the Inquisitorius. She imparted to Jerserra secrets concerning the Force, along with the art of lightsaber combat. Much of their time was also devoted to studying a fragment of the Nardithi Cluster, which Jerserra had acquired before they left Dathomir. In time, Jerserra became convinced that she possessed the ability to overcome her master. She then turned on her master, killing her with her own lightsaber, which she then claimed. Jerserra then proceeded to utilize the skills she had learned from her master, in addition to her newly acquired lightsaber, to forge a new path for herself as a mercenary.
This Inquisitor possessed Force-sensitivity, and her power was such that she was deemed worthy of recruitment into the Inquisitorius program. She had also undergone training as a Jedi, in addition to the training she received as an Inquisitor. She demonstrated proficiency in lightsaber combat and possessed a deep understanding of the Force, sufficient to instruct Jerserra for several years.
Like many other Inquisitors, this Inquisitor was armed with a double-bladed spinning lightsaber. Similar to the Seventh Sister's lightsaber, it featured small, triangular blades on its rotating emitter ring, which could be employed as both offensive weapons and tools for intimidation. However, this Inquisitor's lightsaber had four blades instead of the two found on the Seventh Sister's weapon.
