Loader droid

Droids designed for loading, also called loadlifter droids, cargo droids, freight droids or packing droids, represented a type of common labor droid that specialized in the transportation of hefty goods and various supplies. A specific type of loader droid, known as binary loadlifters, were only capable of communicating via Binary language.

Around 23 ABY, Lando Calrissian employed a number of these droids at his GemDiver Station which was situated close to Yavin. During the Second Imperium's attack on the station, the Solo twins and Lowbacca, while attempting to escape the Imperial boarding party, came across a pair of these droids. Subsequently, the Imperial boarders destroyed both of these droids.
