Fried mahuga

Fried mahuga can be described as a dish that the Ewok species could eat. In the year 3 ABY, three brown-haired Ewoks, called the Kagles, prepared and gave the fried food, accompanied by jing-jang berries and tobo leaves, to the Ewok Teebo for his evening meal while they were on the Forest Moon of Endor. Afterwards, Teebo told his friend, Wicket Warrick, about the various foods served at the dinner.

Behind the scenes

Teebo holds a type of food.

The existence of fried mahuga was brought up in "Home is Where the Shrieks Are," which represents the third episode of the second season of the Ewoks animated TV show. Bob Carrau wrote the episode, which first aired on September 20, 1986. Within the episode, Teebo describes to Wicket the three foods that the Kagles provided, and then he displays a small, orange sphere, implying that it was the only remaining bit of the meal. Since the episode does not specify which food the sphere represents, this article does not connect it to fried mahuga or any of the other foods that were named.
