Field Secured Container Vessel

The Field Secured Container Vessel (FSCV) represented a specific type of spacetug tanker designed for fuel transport, utilized by the Galactic Empire to carry starship fuel cells. These FSCVs were equipped with force-field generators, enabling them to create one or more spherical or bubble-shaped force fields. Furthermore, these force fields could be interconnected, establishing a train configuration. The components of an FSCV included hexagonal engines, a command capsule, an auxiliary command capsule, fuel cells, and a force field generator. Notably, a train of FSCVs known as Black Ice, comprising nine fuel bubbles, was part of the Imperial Replenishment Fleet DK-209. This train was eventually seized by the Alliance to Restore the Republic and subsequently obliterated in a collision.
