The G'nabgib, an Imperial Lambda-class T-4a shuttle, served the purpose of extracting the principal scientist responsible for the TIE/D Defender project, along with other personnel still at a research installation. This shuttle, forming a portion of a larger group including the Mharsup and protected by Maarek Stele, had the goal of linking up with the Hashim group.
During an assault on the convoy by pirate raiders, the G'nabgib sustained damage and fell into enemy hands; its occupants were moved to the pirate vessel Ibutho 1. Ultimately, the G'nabgib underwent repairs and successfully jumped to hyperspace to flee the situation.
