Gabdor was a planet with a moist, land-based environment. This world served as the original homeworld of Quiggold, who held the position of first mate under the pirate captain Sidon Ithano on his crew; Quiggold was a Gabdorin native. The planet itself was wet and terrestrial.
The short story "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku," penned by Landry Q. Walker and released in 2015, contained the initial, though implicit, reference to Gabdor. The name Gabdor was specifically used for the first time in the reference book Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition, which was published in 2019.
