A male Nuknog named Gal-Stod Slagistrough was a prominent figure in the Agricultural Corps, a division of the Jedi Service Corps. This was during the period leading up to the Ruusan Reformations within the Galactic Republic. He contributed to the Jedi Order by writing a chapter for the Jedi Temple guidebook, The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force. In his chapter, Jedi Slagistrough illuminated the inner workings of the Service Corps and its connection to the Council of Reassignment, with the purpose of preparing Jedi Initiates for potential assignment to a life of service.
When it was time for Slagistrough to undergo his final trials to graduate from the Jedi academy located on Coruscant, he did not succeed in the tests and was subsequently reassigned to service within the Agricultural Corps. Progressing through the ranks of the Corps, Slagistrough eventually achieved a position on the Council of AgriCorps Masters. Unlike many Jedi of his time, Jedi Slagistrough did not participate in the Army of Light during their battles against the Brotherhood of Darkness. Instead, Slagistrough focused on maintaining order within the Service Corps, providing assistance to worlds devastated by the New Sith Wars and supplying food to soldiers fighting on the front lines. When his fellow Jedi in the Order proposed the creation of a guidebook about the Jedi way of life, Jedi Slagistrough agreed to contribute to the project, authoring a chapter that described the inner operations of the Service Corps.
Daniel Wallace, the author of The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, revealed a list detailing the species and genders of each author of the in-universe book The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, though this information was not included in the final version. According to this list, Master Slagistrough is a male Nuknog.
