The Galpos sector represented a region of space. This sector shared its designation with the Galpos system, situated within the Outer Rim Territories' Abrion sector. Within its boundaries were the planets known as Friazel 7, Pfertiuin 4, and Viska.
The initial mention of the Galpos sector occurred in "Hide and Go Seek," a roleplaying game adventure from 1990. This adventure, penned by Glen Allison, served as a supplementary material for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and was featured in the twelfth publication of the Voyages SF periodical.
Subsequently, it appeared in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," a source article also authored by Glen Allison and published in the thirteenth issue of the Voyages SF magazine. This article situated the Firro, Friazel, Galpos, Pfertiuin (referred to as the "Pfertium" system), Sagma, Tolaniisi, and Varl systems within the sector. Given that its release bypassed the Lucas Licensing procedures, its canonicity within the Star Wars Legends continuity remained unconfirmed. Consequently, the StarWars.com Online Companion accompanying the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas has since reassigned the Firro, Galpos, Sagma, and Varl systems to different sectors instead.
