Garreck Darkmere was a member of the Human race, and he was also the sibling of Evram Darkmere, specifically the younger one.
Darkmere's parent, who was a pirate, died when he was young, during fighting that occurred between the Daupherm Planet States and the Botor Enclave; following this, he was raised by his older brother. Though, two years following that, Evram became a member of the Daupherm Merchant Fleet, which meant Garreck was forced to reside in a Daupherm institution for orphans.
