Following the Battle of Endor, General Hera Syndulla of the rebel forces established a camp on the moon of Endor. Leia Organa dispatched Han Solo and Chewbacca to this camp, instructing them to request ration bars from Syndulla. The purpose of acquiring these ration bars was to supply the Ewoks, thereby deterring them from consuming the captured stormtroopers.
