Genesia

Genesia, the second planet within the Genesia system situated in the Brak sector, was circled by numerous space stations that were collectively called G-Stations. Because of its position along a well-traveled hyperlane, Genesia saw a constant stream of spacers and other travelers en route to a variety of locations.

This world featured three substantial continents composed of grassy plains and verdant hills, all intersected by a multitude of rivers. Additionally, Genesia boasted tens of thousands of smaller islands dispersed across its three oceans. These oceans were known by the names Theen Ocean, Wold Ocean, and Zirac Ocean. A large number of these islands were privately held by Genesia's various corporations and were utilized as exclusive retreats or entertainment venues.

Despite being a heavily trafficked transportation center, the area around Genesia saw very few spaceship mishaps, leading many independent spacers to think of the planet as fortunate. Several crime lords from across the sector established their headquarters on Genesia, easily bribing or simply ignoring the corrupt and ineffective planetary governing body.

As the Brak sector's resources started to diminish, Genesia's economy began to suffer, this was in spite of assurances from the Lant Mining Corporation that the economic situation would improve. The repercussions stemming from Lant Mining Corporation's series of mine closures proved fatal for many of Genesia's leading companies.
