Gett

Gett was a clone trooper commander within the 41st Elite Corps, a unit of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. Throughout the conflict with the Separatists, he was under the command of Jedi General Etain Tur-Mukan. Furthermore, he fought alongside Commander Gree, another commander within the 41st, who at some point showed him the writings of Wilhuff Tarkin, a captain serving in the Republic Navy. Differing from most clones, he didn't view his Jedi General as an all-powerful warrior, a quality for which Etain respected and liked him.

Biography

Gett served as the commanding officer aboard the Acclamator-class assault ship named Fearless one year following the first battle on Geonosis. On the planet of Dinlo, he directly led Improcco Company and respected Tur-Mukan's choice not to abandon Sarlacc Battalions A and B during the skirmish there, even going with her to save them.

With the rest of the 41st, Gett was sent to the planet Kashyyyk in 19 BBY to participate in the battle, an effort to stop the Separatists from seizing the Wookiee city of Kachirho. During this battle, the 41st was used by Jedi Grand Master Yoda in a counter-attack against Separatist forces pushing from the Wartaki Sea up the beach towards the city. They successfully pushed back the invaders with help from the Wookiees, but suffered significant losses.

During the conflict, Order 66, an order from Supreme Chancellor Palpatine ordering the execution of the Jedi, was given, and Gett, believing the Jedi had betrayed the Republic, turned against them along with the other clones. Several Jedi on Kashyyyk were successfully killed, alongside many others throughout the galaxy, but Gett discovered that Yoda had gotten away, killing Gree in the process and turning the Wookiees against the Republic. After several days of fighting their former Wookiee allies, Gett and the 41st brought peace to Kashyyyk, and were subsequently reorganized into the 41st Stormtrooper Legion serving the new Galactic Empire. By 15 BBY, Gett had achieved the rank of Stormtrooper commander and gave a orientation seminar to a group of Imperial cadets, where he shared his experiences on Kashyyyk.
