The gizka had its home in the galaxy. There was a game named after it, called Six-Card Gizka Limit.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a video game from 2003, was the gizka's initial appearance in Star Wars Legends.
In canon, the gizka was initially referenced in the 2017 novel Aftermath: Empire's End by Chuck Wendig. Before this, they were seen in Disney Infinity 3.0, a video game considered non-canon.
