Gizor Dellso established a droid army, utilizing a clandestine droid factory on the planet of Mustafar. His goal was to wage war against the forces of the Galactic Empire. This army included various types of droids, such as OOM-series battle droids, B1s, B2s, Droidekas, and MagnaGuards. Darth Vader responded by sending the 501st Legion with orders to assassinate Dellso and dismantle his entire operation. During the ensuing Battle of Mustafar, the droid forces were deactivated, and the factory itself was obliterated, preventing any further production.
Dellso's army was destroyed by the 501st Legion.
In addition to his droid forces, Dellso had been working on a new Confederate infantry prototype. The designs for this prototype were lost when the factory was destroyed.
