The Jedi maintained a base known as the Gnarls Outpost. It was situated within the Tythonian Gnarls of the planet Tython. This base existed during the Cold War period, specifically the conflict with the reconstituted Sith Empire. In the course of the Flesh Raider uprising, the Gnarls Outpost was assaulted by a band of indigenous Flesh Raiders, led by the Dark Jedi named Callef.
