To differentiate themselves from their primary adversaries, the Red Faction, members of the Gold Faction donned a gold sash. Furthermore, the leader of this faction was granted a special, private viewing box at the Korsinata. During the year 3961 BBY, circumstances compelled the Golds and their rivals to collaborate in the selection process for a new Grand Lord to lead the Tribe. Finding themselves unable to reach a consensus on a fitting Grand Lord, the Gold and Red Factions arrived at a compromise, choosing High Lord Lillia Venn, the most senior of the High Lords. By 3960 BBY, Pallima held the position of High Lord and leader of the faction, but his life was cut short after his involvement in a plot to assassinate Grand Lord Venn was discovered.
