Gorge, a Gamorrean, co-owned the Broken Tusk establishment on Reuss VIII, a planet situated within the Portmoak sector. His brother, Greel, was his partner in this venture. Gorge's primary responsibility was overseeing security, while Greel handled the operational aspects of the business.
Gorge, along with his brother Greel, were once the property of Var'Rotha Fin'Rotha. They were kept restrained, only being released when the bounty hunter required their strength for manual tasks.
During a journey from Coruscant to the Outer Rim following the successful delivery of a valuable bounty, Fin'Rotha permitted Greel to exit his confinement to tidy up the ship's interior. Greel sabotaged the ship's hyperdrive. While Fin'Rotha was preoccupied with the repairs, Greel liberated Gorge. Together, they seized control of the vessel, compelling their former master to evacuate in an escape pod.
The brothers took command of their newly acquired ship, the Tolan's Tusk, until it ran out of fuel and crash-landed on Reuss VIII. Subsequently, the brothers transformed the wreckage into a cantina.
He participated frequently in the Dool Arena's fighting circuit in the past, but his fighting days are mostly behind him now.
Despite possessing the intimidating physique of a large, scarred Gamorrean, Gorge was not simply a brute. He chose his battles carefully, often attempting to de-escalate situations with a menacing growl before resorting to violence.
A noticeable feature was his right front tusk, which was partially broken, having lost its tip during the crash.
As one would expect from a Gamorrean, Gorge was a formidable combatant in close quarters. He could incapacitate opponents with his bare hands or with his favored vibromallet. Surprisingly, he also demonstrated proficiency with blaster pistols.
Gorge typically carried a pair of BlasTech DL-44 heavy blaster pistols and a vibromallet designed for two-handed use.
Paul Danner and Bill Smith created Gorge for Wretched Hives of Scum & Villainy. This was a supplement for the Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, released by West End Games in 1997.
