This particular grapple droid participated in the Battle of Antamont. Spotting a deserter B1 battle droid, it attempted to persuade the B1 to rejoin the ranks of the droid army. Upon the B1's rejection, the grapple droid initiated an assault, only to be dismantled in the process, leaving it with minimal functionality for a brief period. Fearful of deactivation, the grapple droid was comforted by the B1, which displayed empathy by remaining with it until the grapple droid reached its final permanent shutdown.
