A grapple gun was a specialized piece of weaponry in the possession of Val, who was a part of Beckett's gang. She adapted it from a net-thrower so that she could traverse significant spans. This grapple gun of hers had a motorized spool of compressed syntherope and was energized by a small group of a dozen propellant thrusters, capable of sending its piton beyond 600 meters.
