Greeley, an engineer in the service of the Galactic Empire, was a man during the era of the Galactic Civil War.
In 1 BBY, Greeley was stationed on the Imperial prison barge called the Purge. While the Purge was on its way to the detainment moon Gradient Seven, it suffered a malfunction. To find replacement components for the repairs, Greeley was chosen to join a team that would go from the Purge to a derelict Star Destroyer nearby. Jareth Sartoris headed up the team, which accessed the Star Destroyer via a docking shaft. The team then divided; Sartoris, Blandings, Blandings again, and Imperial Corrections Officers Austin and Vesek proceeded to the maintenance level of the Star Destroyer and found some parts. As they returned to the Purge, everyone in the group except Sartoris had been infected by a virus during their time on the Star Destroyer, and Greeley started experiencing symptoms. He was taken to the Purge's medical bay, but he succumbed to the disease not long after.
