A species of ground assault vehicle known as the Imperial Combat Assault Transport
GAV, or Ground assault vehicle, was a broad term used to refer to various armored cavalry vehicles designed for ground combat. This category included everything from troop transports to heavily-armed combat tanks, such as the HCVw A9.2 juggernaut transport. The army of the Galactic Empire utilized many GAVs, which were operated by Imperial combat drivers.
