Gula Dwan

title: Gula Dwan

A Duros individual named Gula Dwan operated as both a bounty hunter and a paid assassin. Possessing Force-sensitive abilities, he was hand-picked by Loranda, a rich Human, to instruct her offspring, Hetton, in the mysteries of the Force. However, Hetton deemed Dwan an inadequate instructor, and before long, chose to kill him.

Biography

Gula Dwan, a male Duros, made his living as a bounty hunter and assassin. Being Force-sensitive, he had also acquired a limited range of minor Force powers during his lifetime, including the skill to levitate small objects. Prior to 1000 BBY, Loranda, a wealthy Human woman hailing from the planet of Serenno, hired Dwan. Loranda was looking for someone to guide her son, Hetton, in the ways of the Force and had found the Duros. Offering him a substantial amount of money, Dwan, driven by the allure of credits, eagerly accepted her proposition.

Yet, Hetton soon realized that Dwan had little valuable knowledge to impart. Due to his family's considerable fortune, Hetton managed to unearth several Sith artifacts and ancient texts. Through these recovered manuscripts, Hetton gained a deeper understanding of the Force than anything Dwan could teach him. Once his abilities exceeded those of his teacher, the student, influenced by his mother, chose to kill his mentor.

Personality and traits

A primary motivator for Gula Dwan was financial gain. He demonstrated a willingness to work for anyone who offered the highest payment, regardless of their moral principles. Following Loranda's approach, he agreed to work for her and tutor her son, enticed by her promise of a generous sum of credits. However, Dwan proved to be a mediocre teacher. Hetton quickly grew disillusioned with his instructor, viewing Dwan as merely a mercenary with Force abilities, and readily eliminated Dwan when the opportunity arose.

Powers and abilities

Dwan exhibited a degree of Force-sensitivity, using his connection to the Force to inform his actions.
