Gwarrk
Gwarrk existed as a Rishii leader during the era known as the Clone Wars. In the vicinity of 21 BBY, Separatist Geonosian forces assaulted the planet of Rishi to seize the planet's exonium resources. Following the Separatist's successful capture of the mines, the Jedi Council dispatched Green Company, a group of clone troopers, to Rishi with the intention of reclaiming them. Upon the clones' arrival, Gwarrk instructed Green Company's Clone Commander to initiate combat although a Jedi General was not present.
The Geonosians possessed a significantly advantageous position and effectively resisted the clones' assaults. Shortly thereafter, Jedi General Kit Fisto arrived and commanded the Republic soldiers to fall back. Even though Gwarrk inquired about Fisto's reasoning for the clone's recall and pushed for another attack, Fisto devised a different strategy. He approached the mines' entrance and utilized his lightsaber to redirect the laser fire from a sniper, 2242, towards the Geonosians. After Fisto had weakened the Geonosian defenses, the Republic forces—supported by Rishii warriors—managed to recapture the mines.
Biography
Gwarrk, a Rishii, held the position of leader among his people during the Clone Wars. In the timeframe of approximately 21 BBY, Geonosian forces, in alliance with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, attacked the world Rishi and seized its exonium mines to acquire the exonium resource necessary for powering their sonic weapons. To thwart the Separatist agenda and safeguard the planet's native inhabitants, the Jedi High Council deployed Green Company, a group of Galactic Republic clone troopers, to reclaim the mines. The clone soldiers were instructed not to engage until a Jedi General was present, but Gwarrk assumed control of the soldiers and directed them to assault the mines regardless. The Geonosians, however, had established a strongly fortified defense, and the attack was pushed back.

Observing the soldiers retreating, Gwarrk questioned who had issued the order to fall back, but his inquiry was answered by the Nautolan Jedi Master Kit Fisto, who had recently arrived on Rishi. Fisto informed the leader that the troops were present to shield the Rishii from the Separatists and asserted that no assault should have been launched before his arrival. Gwarrk contended that the Jedi had established the Republic Army for warfare, and he had simply assigned the clones to their function, adding that the troops had failed because their strength had been insufficient. When Green Company's clone commander informed Fisto that the Geonosians had dug deeply inside the canyon leading to the entrance of the mines, Gwarrk stated that his people required the exonium to prepare their food during the cold season and once more insisted on another attack. Fisto, however, devised a different strategy and instructed the clone trooper commander to provide him with the company's best sharpshooter.
Soon, without informing Gwarrk of his intentions, Fisto proceeded to the entrance of the mines. When Gwarrk asked the Clone Commander about the Jedi's whereabouts, the latter informed him that Fisto had seemingly initiated an attack. Meanwhile, Fisto instructed the sharpshooter, 2242 to aim at his shoulder and fire continuously. 2242 complied, and Fisto began deflecting the laser shots at the Geonosians with his lightsaber. As the Clone Commander rallied his forces and went to assist Fisto, Gwarrk remarked that the Jedi was either "very powerful or very dead." By this point, however, all Geonosians in the canyon had been eliminated by Fisto's and 2242's combined efforts. The remaining Republic forces—along with some of the Rishii warriors—then arrived and attacked the Geonosian troops inside the mines, compelling the remaining CIS forces to retreat. Subsequently, Gwarrk acknowledged that Fisto was very powerful, to which the Jedi responded that two factors had enabled this victory—the power of his mind and 2242's assistance.
Personality and traits
Gwarrk was determined to reclaim the exonium and ordered the clone troopers to attack without any reasonable chance of success. When the troops failed in their mission, he attributed the failure to the troopers' lack of strength, rather than the enemy troops' superior position. Gwarrk displayed little regard for the clones, dispatching them to attack the Geonosians with minimal prospects of success and addressing the commander disrespectfully, openly insulting him in Fisto's presence. However, he held Fisto's skills in high esteem and acknowledged them to him after the battle concluded. Gwarrk possessed yellow eyes and carried the axe-like staff weapon characteristic of a Rishii warrior. As a leader, he also wore a necklace and a crown-like headdress.
