Cooker
Cooker, also identified as 2242, served as a clone sniper within Green Company. This unit of clone troopers fought for the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars. Around 21 BBY, Geonosian forces seized the planet Rishi and its exonium mines. Green Company was then deployed to the planet with orders to defend the native Rishii and reclaim the mines. Following a failed initial attack, Jedi Master Kit Fisto devised a strategy to overcome the Geonosians, requesting the clone commander of Green Company to provide him with their most skilled sharpshooter.
Cooker was the commander's choice. He positioned himself across from the canyon that led to the mines' entrance. As instructed by Fisto, Cooker began to fire repeatedly at the Jedi's shoulder. Fisto then utilized his lightsaber to redirect Cooker's blaster fire towards the Geonosians. After all Geonosians in the canyon were killed, troops inside the mines attacked Fisto using an LR1K sonic cannon, which knocked the Jedi to the ground. Cooker, however, eliminated the cannon with a precise shot. Subsequently, the remaining Republic forces, along with Rishii warriors, launched an assault on the mines, forcing the remaining Geonosians to retreat.
Biography
Designated 2242, this clone trooper was a clone sniper within the Grand Army of the Republic. Born on the planet Kamino, 2242 was a clone derived from the Mandalorian bounty hunter Jango Fett. During the Clone Wars, he was known as "Cooker" because of his ability to consistently target the power cells of Confederate battle droids, causing the droids to explode. Around 21 BBY, Geonosian forces invaded Rishi, and seized its exonium mines to obtain the mineral needed for their sonic weapons. Cooker's unit, Green Company, was sent to defend the Rishii and were instructed not to engage until a Jedi General arrived. However, Rishii Chieftain Gwarrk ordered the clone troopers to attack the mines, as his people required exonium to prepare food when the ground frosted over.

The clones' assault failed due to the Geonosians' superior positioning. Jedi Master Kit Fisto, who had just arrived on Rishi, ordered a retreat. Fisto then formulated a plan to defeat the Geonosians and asked Green Company's clone commander for their best sharpshooter; the commander chose Cooker. After learning Cooker's nickname, Fisto approved the selection. The Jedi proceeded to the mines' entrance, while Cooker took position on a ledge opposite the entrance, informing Fisto that he lacked a clear shot at the entrenched enemy.
Fisto replied that Cooker was to target him, firing continuously at his shoulder. Cooker expressed shock and reluctance, but the Jedi clarified that he would use his lightsaber to deflect Cooker's blaster fire towards the Geonosians, as he could not deflect their sonic weapons. When the Geonosians attacked, Fisto ordered Cooker to open fire. Cooker complied, and with their combined efforts, all enemy troops in the canyon were soon killed by the deflected shots.
Fisto then saw the mines' massive doors opening, hoping for a Confederate surrender. This was not the case, as the Geonosians revealed an LR1K sonic cannon and attacked Fisto, knocking him down. Cooker then contacted Fisto via comlink, instructing the Jedi to remain down. Cooker demonstrated his sniping skills by firing a single shot directly into the weapon's barrel, destroying the cannon. The remaining Republic forces and Rishii warriors then attacked the mines, forcing the Geonosians to flee. Afterward, Gwarrk acknowledged Fisto's power, to which the Jedi replied that the victory was due to both his mind and Cooker's assistance.
Personality and traits
Cooker was considered a highly skilled sharpshooter, known for consistently hitting Separatist droids' power cells. He expressed enjoyment in watching the droids burn as a result. Kit Fisto recognized Cooker's exceptional skills and commended him. Cooker was initially reluctant to shoot at his general and later saved Fisto's life from the sonic cannon. As a Jango Fett clone, Cooker was 1.83 meters tall.
