Gwendoline Christie

Gwendoline Christie, an English actress and model, was born on October 28, 1978. In the 2015 movie _Star Wars_: Episode VII The Force Awakens, she plays Captain Phasma of the First Order. The initial announcement of her participation occurred on June 2, 2014. Later, in 2017, Christie played Phasma once more in Star Wars_: Episode VIII The Last Jedi. She also provided the voice for Phasma in the Star Wars Resistance animated series. Before her Star Wars role, Christie became well-known for playing Brienne of Tarth in the HBO television show Game of Thrones, and she made an appearance in the The Hunger Games movie Mockingjay – Part 2.
