Hailstorm Brotherhood

When Galactic Republic forces registered a colossal ice formation emerging from the Glacial Fissure region, they became aware of this extreme faction within the White Maw pirates. After investigating the structure, reconnaissance teams reported clashes with near-nude combatants adorned in wampa pelts, who vociferously recited verse as they attacked.

The Hailstorm Brotherhood exemplified the concept of complete assimilation into the local environment. Originating from a lethal cult on an unidentified frozen world, the brotherhood achieved notoriety when its White Maw adherents migrated to Hoth, completely forsaking any semblance of civilized behavior and instead heeding the call of the wilderness. However, they are not simply a band of survivors; the Hailstorm Brotherhood possesses a profound spiritual element that renders them perilously fanatical.

The Brotherhood will only be fought by the Empire if the player is aligned with the Empire. Conversely, if the player is aligned with the Republic, both the Republic and Empire will briefly unite to defeat the Brotherhood.
