A powerfully built Human male, Master Sav commanded the Hailstorm Brotherhood pirate faction stationed on the planet of Hoth. This individual, known as Sav, managed to escape death on numerous occasions; a notable instance being his survival after the Battle of High Ridge where all of his crew perished, leading him to hunt wampas using a spear crafted from an icicle. His life ultimately ended during the Galactic War, which subsequently resulted in the dissolution of his pirate organization.
Sav's character appears within the 2011 massively multiplayer online roleplaying video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. When playing as a Republic character, both the Republic and Empire factions cooperate to bring down Sav. Conversely, as an Empire player, only the Empire confronts Sav, providing the choice to either launch a direct assault on him and his protectors (Dark Side) or accept his challenge to a one-on-one duel within an extremely cold ice cave referred to as "The Pit" (Light Side).
