Harriet Walter

Born on September 24, 1950, Dame Harriet Mary Walter, DBE, is a celebrated English actress. She played the role of Dr. Harter Kalonia in the motion picture Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, which was released in 2015.

In addition to her role as Dr. Kalonia, Walter also played Lady Shackleton in the television show Downton Abbey. She has also been featured in movies like Sense and Sensibility (1995) and Atonement (2007). Furthermore, she took on a starring role in the ITV drama series Law & Order: UK from 2009 to 2014. In recognition of her contributions to the field of drama, Walter was honored with the title of Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2011. Notably, she is the niece of Christopher Lee, the actor who portrayed Dooku in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith (2005).
