Hatch

Each family unit of the Kari was referred to as a Hatch. These Hatches typically consisted of between twenty and thirty Kari members. Being an insectoid species that lived in a manner similar to a hive, the Kari did not possess a high degree of intellect. However, they did have a unique characteristic: the creation of songs to transmit their history across generations. This led to the emergence of bards within their society. Each Hatch had at least one singer, responsible for maintaining the Hatch's history and sharing it with other Hatches through song.
