Head Chef Droid
The Head Chef Droid, a uniquely designed and patented J4-SN Chef Droid, was under the ownership of Hutt Cartel affiliates Gaboorga the Abundant and Duuba the Magnanimous. This droid functioned as the primary Head Chef at both The Sarlacc Pit cantina and the Bog's Bounty Banquet Hall during the Feast of Prosperity celebrations on Nar Shaddaa in the year 3626 BBY.
Being a J4-SN Chef Droid model, the Head Chef Droid exhibited a gold colored plating, in addition to a blue photoreceptor and a quartet of adaptable appendages. Adding to its distinctive appearance, the Head Chef Droid sported a sizable, tailor-made chef hat. Famously difficult to please, it maintained exceptionally high standards and routinely rejected dishes, much to the frustration of the cantina's owner, as no food was ever deemed acceptable for the patrons.
Production Notes
The debut of the Head Chef Droid occurred during the Feast of Prosperity event within the Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught expansion, released in 2019 for BioWare's 2011 massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Star Wars: The Old Republic. It was a central figure in the "Cooking Mini-game" featured in the event. The design of the Head Chef Droid's hat is inspired by the Toque, a traditional part of a real-world chef's uniform.
