J4-SN Chef Droid
The J4-SN Chef Droid represents a floating droid model that functioned as a cooking droid. Noteworthy users included Hutt Cartel members Gaboorga the Abundant and Duuba the Magnanimous during the Feast of Prosperity held on Nar Shaddaa in 3626 BBY. These J4-SN Chef Droids typically featured gold plating, a blue photoreceptor, and were equipped with four multipurpose appendages. A large, custom chef hat could also be affixed to the top of the droid. A J4-SN Chef Droid served as the Head Chef Droid for both The Sarlacc Pit cantina and Bog's Bounty Banquet Hall.
Behind the scenes
The initial appearance of the J4-SN Chef Droid occurred during the Feast of Prosperity event in the 2019 Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught expansion. This expansion was for BioWare's 2011 massively multiplayer online role-playing game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, where it played a significant part in the event's "Cantina Rush" and "Cooking" mini-games. The J4-SN Chef Droid's headwear is designed to mirror a chef's Toque from the real world.
