Hero's Grave

The Hero's Grave existed as a burial ground situated on the Outer Rim planet of Tatooine. It was believed that this grave held the remains of some of Tatooine's original inhabitants. The location was made up of numerous small graves, arranged in a stone circle, surrounding a larger central stone that potentially contained the body of the settlement's leader. Millennia afterwards, during the time of the Galactic Civil War, an explorer named Tinrilo x'Rilsam journeyed to the grave. Regrettably, he failed to uncover any details regarding the individuals interred there, as the site had been ransacked in the distant past.

Behind the scenes

The Hero's Grave appeared as a location within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before its shutdown on December 15, 2011. The Hero's Grave stood out as one of several unmapped points of interest present on Tatooine. After the launch of the Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed expansion in 2004, uncommon data storage unit devices were sometimes looted from defeated enemies during space combat. One specific data storage device, entitled "an Explorer's Log (1/8)," included an elaborate history regarding the Hero's Grave.
