Just as with Nootka's other assumed identities, he devised this name by rearranging and combining the given and family names of characters featured in a collection of Durosian books aimed at young adults.
In the waning moments of the trial involving Rogue Squadron aviator Tycho Celchu, Kirtan Loor, an operative of Imperial Intelligence, employed this alias to establish communication with Nawara Ven, Celchu's legal representative.
