Hewpaj was a thief active during the Rise of the Empire era; he was a male Human from Coruscant and a member of the Blank Look Gang.
While a member of the gang, he and Urnon Mossu were selected for a mission: to steal a collection of Antique Twi'lek pots from the Galactic Museum in CoCo Town on the planet Coruscant. These pots were desired by an anonymous and wealthy client of the gang. Their plan involved a female college student infiltrating the museum to reprogram an ASP-7 labor droid. The reprogrammed droid was to carry the pots to the loading dock, then off the edge into a waiting speeder piloted by Urnon. Hewpaj's role was to use his sniper rifle to create a distraction for the museum staff from a nearby building, after which Urnon would pick him up. However, during their getaway, a group of spacers pursued them, causing their stolen hot rod speeder to crash into the Royal Icqui Aquaria. Both Hewpaj and Urnon ended up unconscious in a Pierceskimmer tank, with the possibility of being eaten by the creature.
