High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne Within the Inquisitorius, a clandestine division of Imperial Intelligence, High Inquisitor represented a high-level position. The Inquisitorius itself was composed of dark side attuned agents with Force-sensitives who operated directly under the authority of Emperor Palpatine. While they frequently functioned as interrogators, their main objective was to locate individuals with the potential to become Jedi and to investigate occurrences of Force activity during the Galactic Empire's reign. The only rank superior to High Inquisitor within the Inquisitorius was that of the Grand Inquisitor, who served as the leader of the entire organization. Following the Empire's collapse, numerous Inquisitors who survived became part of the Great InQuestor of Judgment.
