Mox Slosin

Mox Slosin held membership within the Inquisitorius and distinguished himself as one of the Emperor's esteemed High Inquisitors.

Biography

Originating from Entuur as a Human, he wholeheartedly embraced the Entuuran cultural values, which placed a significant emphasis on pain and suffering. As a High Inquisitor, Slosin gained notoriety for his sadistic tendencies, earning a reputation that rivaled even the infamous High Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne. Notably, he was renowned for imbuing his predilections into the programming of the IT-O Interrogator droids, despite abstaining from personally employing droids during interrogations.

Although he was a highly effective interrogator, his excessive zeal sometimes led to the unintended consequence of killing the victim before successfully extracting the desired information. During the subjugation of Fitca Prime, Slosin, who at that time held the position of an Imperial Intelligence interrogator, caused the death of Alliance Colonel Shanda Dok due to her steadfast refusal to betray the Alliance. Nevertheless, given the successful outcome of the subjugation, Slosin received a transfer to Urce.

In the year 1 BBY, Slosin conducted an interrogation of the Rebel agent Tirranna, a Wookiee. Despite surviving the ordeal, Tirranna endured lasting physical and psychological trauma and developed a profound animosity towards Slosin. As a direct result of her personal encounter, Tirranna was tasked with compiling a report on Slosin for distribution among the Rebel Alliance.

Slosin's flagship was the Trenchant-class cruiser known as the Ironhand. While patrolling the Lesser Plooriod Cluster, Slosin operated largely without direct supervision. In contrast to many other Inquisitors, he proactively sought out Rebel operatives within his designated area, frequently traversing the Burna Trade Route and the Entana Run.

By 2 ABY, Slosin was in his mid-50s; however, he appeared significantly older due to his prematurely white and thinning hair, his long, slender beard, and his unusually dark and wrinkled skin.

Behind the scenes

Alliance Intelligence Reports depicts Slosin's attributes as indicating Force sensitivity, while Star Wars Inquisitors: A History asserts that he is not Force-sensitive. Although Inquisitors are generally Force-sensitive individuals, Star Wars Inquisitors: A History represents a more recent source. The most plausible explanation lies in his Alliance Intelligence Reports stats, which assign him a "2" for Force points, representing the minimum threshold for Force sensitivity. From this, we can infer that he possessed Force sensitivity, albeit to a limited degree, accounting for the assertion that he was not Force-sensitive.
