Tirranna was a Wookiee female who served in the Rebel Alliance as part of the Task Force.
Her knowledge of the underworld and extensive network of contacts led to her selection for Rebel Alliance Intelligence. Joining the team was something she truly desired, as it presented an opportunity to command military forces in the liberation of her home planet, Kashyyyk.
On two separate occasions, Tirranna's path crossed with the pirates Dorin and Denuab Venithon. Both times, they managed to escape "like a scur evading the grasp of a nightdweller". Despite their lack of honor in combat, she held a certain respect for their skills.
In the year 1 BBY, the Galactic Empire captured Tirranna in Pa'hir'al City, where she was subjected to interrogation by High Inquisitor Mox Slosin. Although she survived, the experience left her with lasting physical and psychological scars, and a deep-seated hatred for Slosin.
While having drinks with fellow Rebel officers Alton Lochner and Adazian Liebke at the Brawl and Grill in Trader's Quarter on Ord Mantell, assassin Callandri suddenly stormed into the establishment, opening fire in an attempt to eliminate Lochner. Unaware of any justifiable reason for Lochner's assassination, Tirranna and Liebke collaborated to save his life, with Tirranna's contributions proving crucial to their success.
Later, Vanden Willard consulted with Tirranna while preparing a report on Callandri. In her account, Tirranna acknowledged Callandri's impressive skills, drawing a comparison to a Katarn. However, she also made it clear that she harbored a strong dislike for Callandri and desired an opportunity to kill her, or her cousin and associate, Zayl Braith.
As a member of the Task Force on Alliance Security, Tirranna was responsible for writing reports detailing potential threats to the Rebel Alliance. These reports included assessments of former adversaries such as the Venithon Twins and Mox Slosin. She also documented her thoughts on the Mytaranor Slaving Council: As a Wookiee, she felt nothing but contempt for slavers and expressed a strong desire to kill them by the hundreds with her bare hands.
